Description

The Internal Audit Senior is responsible for performing individual internal audit projects and preparing internal audit reports reflecting the results of the work performed.

INTERNAL AUDIT SENIOR

OUR NEED

We are seeking an Internal Audit Senior to work within our Group Internal Audit Team, under the guidance of the Group Chief Internal Auditor, to perform individual internal audit projects as part of the total internal audit plan.

Included among the responsibilities of the role are: –

• Providing input into the annual internal audit risk assessment and internal audit plan.
• Planning and executing individual audit projects to cover risk areas and control weaknesses of functional and operating units.
• Preparing internal audit reports to reflect the results of the work performed.
• Performing post implementation reviews on the status of outstanding internal audit issues.
• Assisting in the preparation of report for the Group Audit Committee.

DESIRED BACKGROUND/SKILLS

• Professional accounting/auditing designation e.g. ACCA or CIA.
• Four years of auditing experience, preferably with at least two years in an internal audit role
• Knowledge of accounting, finance and internal control areas
• Intermediate to advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience in performing multiple projects and working with varying team members.
• Experience in auditing of food manufacturing operations would be an asset.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, to effectively present to peers and management.
