Job Description

Perform administration, installation and configuration of the Public Address Systems, Intercom Systems, ID Badge Production Systems, Access Control and Alarm Systems, Video Surveillance Systems, Drone technologies and Robotics based at PIA. Provide support for similar systems at ANRRIA.

Key and Critical Responsibilities

1. Perform administration, installation, support and maintenance of the Authority’s information system, telecommunications system, electronic security system, building management system and airport operational system based at ANRRIA. Provide support for similar systems at PIA.
2. Install, troubleshoot and repair data and voice cabling infrastructure.
3. Install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain the data network communication systems.
4. Install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain the telephone system.
5. Assist in the administration and support of the Authority’s Information and Security Systems which include antivirus, user directory systems, office productivity applications, client/server systems, patch management, ID Badge and Access Control, Public Address (PA) and Video Surveillance systems based at ANRRIA.
6. Work closely with Facilities Maintenance and Engineering personnel in the installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of the building management system.
7. Work closely with the service provider in the installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of the airport operational system.
8. Analyse systems performance and adjusts for optimization and efficiency. Liaise with Vendor Support when necessary.
9. Respond to service calls 24/7, diagnose the reported issues and provide timely updates to customers and Technical Help Desk.
10. Conduct preventative maintenance on the stated systems to ensure optimal uptime.
11. Assist the Supervisor in the preparation and update of documentation on the stated systems supported and associated processes or tasks.
12. Assist the Supervisor in the development and execution of projects related to the stated systems.
13. Escort and assist in the supervision of external contractors hired to conduct works on the stated systems and related services for airport tenants.
14. Provide timely reports and updates of systems logbooks, service requests and incidents which may occur while on duty for escalation to supervisor.
15. Perform any other related duties that may be assigned.

Key Competency

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technician Diploma or an equivalent combination of training and certification.
2. Training in the implementation and maintenance of Public Address Systems, ID Badging and Access Control Systems and/or Video Surveillance Systems.
3. Training or a working knowledge in the administration of a MS Windows operating system environment will be an asset.

EXPERIENCE

1. Three (3) years of work experience in the installation, configuration and maintenance of video surveillance, electronic access control and public address systems.
2. Working knowledge of the design and implementation of LAN/WAN communication systems and the standard communication protocols.

SKILLS

1. Good oral and written communication skills.
2. Good methodical troubleshooting and logical thinking skills.
3. Team player.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

1. Willingness to work outside of normal business hours when necessary.
2. Will be expected to work on-call when required.
