FCCA: Charting the course for Caribbean cruise tourism growth

The Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) has long served as a linchpin in fostering relationships and partnerships between the cruise industry and Caribbean destinations. Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2024, the FCCA remains steadfast in its mission: to create a mutually beneficial platform for cruise operators, regional governments, and local stakeholders to collaborate in developing sustainable and economically impactful cruise tourism.

Recently, the FCCA Cruise Conference, held from October 21–25, 2024, in St Maarten, highlighted the association’s commitment to fostering growth in the Caribbean and Florida cruise sectors. One standout participant was Tourism Trinidad Limited (TTL), representing Trinidad and Tobago, which made significant strides in showcasing the nation’s appeal to leading cruise lines.

FCCA’s role in cruise tourism

The FCCA works to strengthen the economic and social benefits of cruise tourism throughout the Caribbean, Central, and South America. Through its annual events, like the FCCA Cruise Conference, the association connects decision-makers from global cruise lines with representatives from regional destinations, promoting dialogues on industry challenges and opportunities.
