You can store the remainders of this sandwich spread in the refrigerator to be used for a later date as it keeps well in an air tight container in the fridge.
Cucumber sandwiches recipe

Ingredients
2 medium cucumbers
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
½ cup mayonnaise
Sprinkle of salt and black pepper (optional)
8 slices bread
Directions
Mix together the cream cheese and mayonnaise in a bowl.
Refrigerate overnight.
Spread the cream cheese blend onto bread slices.
Slice cucumber thinly on top 4 slices of bread and cover with other slices.
Shake salt and black pepper (optional).
The cream cheese mixture keeps for a week when refrigerated.
