The key objectives are to optimize solutions sales revenue in line with Digicel’s Oil & Gas Strategy. The role requires the holder to define and implement clear sales strategies specific to their verticals and engage senior stakeholders in the customer C – Level line of Business functions to differentiate Digicel from our competitors. The holder must have a deep understanding of the technology domains in which they are operating, the external market and our competitor’s capabilities.

This role exists to support acceleration in the growth of Digicel’s strategic product portfolio, specifically the Oil and Gas industry within the region. As such the successful candidate must have successful experience in driving internal and external sales campaigns, and building mindshare with a wide range of stakeholders as well as managing high performance in a sales team. The role will also require the holder to build strong senior relationships with Product Management, Commercial Marketing and the external market, to bring customer and competitor insight. This ensures that the full complexities of the market are understood within Digicel and the best positioning for the company is achieved.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

Develop senior level relationships with key sector companies to fully understand their communications needs for operation in our region.
Qualify, develop, and maintain thorough company and product knowledge, research market needs, and identify how our solutions can meet them
Generate a qualified pipeline of opportunities and grow existing relationships, maintaining an accurate detailed client book, and developing an active repeat customer base
Be the recognized industry sector lead for Digicel and represent the company at public speaking events to demonstrate though leadership.
Work with the Account Executive team to design industry-specific outbound efforts
Utilize Salesforce.com tool to ensure standard processes during all sales stages
Conduct month-end and year-end close processes

Academic qualifications and experience, including but not limited to the following:

Bachelor’s Degree from four years college or university
Technical or engineering background is advantageous
5- 10 Years of related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
5 – 10+ years’ experience in the ICT Industry, working for a Vendor or a Systems Integrator
Experience in and with the mobile telecommunications and Information Technology sector would be considered a valuable asset.
Proven experience in the Oil and Gas industry, part of a team that previous lead big deal teams for key O&G accounts globally
Proven experience working with/or in the Oil and Gas industry
Proven experience with wholesales and IRU commercial models globally
