      JOB TITLE: Marketing Coordinator

      POSITION SUMMARY:
      The ideal candidate will successfully manage, coordinate & execute of all Marketing, Promotional & Advertising activities for the Company across all mediums achieving Annual & Monthly Marketing Objectives

      KEY RESPONSIBLITIES 

      Advertising: 

      • Annual Marketing Plans: assist with creation of marketing plans, also working closely with the Marketing Team & Advertising Agency to coordinate production and execution of all plans
      • Responsible for the scheduling, tracking and billing of all external revenue rentals, including but not limited to Gondola Ends, Windows, Sensormatic Sensors, Shopping Bags, In-Store Video Advertising, In-store Radio Advertising.
      • Track External Revenue, measure against annual targets, and report to Marketing Manager monthly.
      • Works closely with key vendors and/or agencies to develop and implement plans for rental opportunities as required.
      • Advertising Package: update, manage, and distribute to vendors, in an effective manner
      • Internal Advertising: work with agency/Graphic Artist to ensure required materials are created and provided as per other Department requests, as well as requests from stores
      • Develops communication for promotions, and disseminates it to all necessary internal and external customers
      • Assist with sourcing of quotes for the department, and choosing suppliers in accordance with the Company’s purchasing policy
      • Preparing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and submission of vendor invoices for all A&P expenses
      • Updating of the Advertising and Promotions Budget tracker
      • Report on Advertising & Promotions Budget monthly



      POP Materials/Signage:

      • Works with the relevant Company personnel, including but not limited to the Graphic Artist, to manage the development of POP materials and signage as required for store specials and seasonal events including but not limited to headers, wobblers, lit boxes, and signage.
      • Ensures that all vendors adhere to the Company’s policies and standards for POP

      Coordination of Marketing & Promotional Activities:

      • Liaises with the relevant Company personnel, including but not limited to the Category Management team, to establish appropriate timeframes for the execution of promotional activities.
      • Coordinates roll-out plans for seasonal and other marketing activities
      • Promotions Calendar: creates and updates monthly promotional/in-store activities calendar, which includes managing and scheduling vendors’ requests, and ensuring calendar is communicated to all relevant company personnel

      Corporate Brand Management:

      • Ensure SuperPharm’s brand guidelines are adhered to on all communication prepared by vendors, internally, and the agency
      • Assist with proofreading, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice

      New Media:

      • Assist with development of content for the company’s social media and website
      • Manage the maintenance of the company’s social media and website
      • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)

      Other:

      • Supports Marketing Manager with execution of projects
      • Performs other related duties as may be assigned from time to time

      POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 

      Education/Training/Experience:

      • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field
      • 3-5 years of experience in marketing
      • Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
      • Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
      • Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, priotitize tasks, and meet deadlines
      • Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports
      • Must have a high level of creativity
      • Experience in retail industry will be an asset
      • Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and possess a vehicle in good working condition that he/she is willing to use in the execution of job responsibilities.
