Applications are invited from suitably qualified officers in your Ministry/Department for the office of Automotive Licensing Officer I (Range 39) in the Public Service. Details are provided hereunder:
Minimum Experience and Training
Considerable (more than 4 years and up to 8 years) clerical experience preferable in the Transport Division and including experience (more than 18 months and up to 4 years) in a supervisory capacity; and training as evidenced by a General Certificate of Education, Ordinary Level, with passes in five subjects including English Language and Mathematics, or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Distinguishing Features of Work:
An employee in this class is responsible for supervising all activities in the Transport Division, dealing with the issuing of motor vehicles and drivers licences. Work involves supervision of a large group of clerical workers who are delegated responsibility for issuing licences for motor vehicles and permits to drivers.
