When it rains it pours and the showers, floods and muddy gunk ruin all your shoes. The next day, men may leave home with dirty or old footwear and women resort to wearing old shoes, sandals or slippers just because the rain would not stop falling. Speaking of falling, sandals, slippers, and rain are a recipe for disaster.
Also, wearing opened shoes during bad weather is a bad idea since you stand the risk of getting waterborne diseases if you come in contact with infected water. This may happen in cases where the rain falls heavily and pedestrians attempt to cross flood waters between pavements and the streets.
People may also step into puddles when getting out of vehicles. Just imagine all that gross sewer water all over your skin. You become exposed to intestinal parasites.
We can’t control when the rain falls but we can definitely prepare ourselves for it. Here are some footwear ideas for women and men to get through those rainy days.
Be stylish and protected in the rain
People looking for waterproof shoes to get through the rain will be concerned with its appearance. This is because usually shoes that serve special purposes tend to be flat out ugly. Men and women want to fix the problem of getting their feet wet not create a new problem of wearing the world’s ugliest shoes at the office. Be stylish and choose several shoes that match your wardrobe. Wear them during the rainy days and look as good as you feel.
