Last year we introduced you to the Moto G4 Plus, the budget priced phone with flagship features. Since that article a couple of things have taken place that makes this phone an even better buy.
The release of the Moto G5 and G5 Plus
Android™ 7.0, Nougat update
Mid March saw the Nougat update being available for the Moto G4 and the update for Moto G4 Plus was available at April 1. Android Nougat includes a lot of additions like the new Vulkan API. Alongside the API, there’s a new compiler and the app notification system can immediately let users take action. A split-screen feature is now automatically a part of the operating system itself unlike before. The new update gives you more control over notifications and brings new features to already installed applications. It basically feels as though you have just bought a new phone.
Why should you buy a Moto G4 Plus now
You get a phone that has been tried and tested, and for the price it is one of the most secure Android devices out there with its built-in fingerprint scanner. It was voted as one of the best phones of 2016 and that is in comparison to the Samsung Galaxy S7, Apple iPhone 6, etc. It has the latest version of Android, minus the bloat ware and most importantly the price. With the release of the G5 Plus, the G4 Plus has gotten a price cut but is just as relevant.
