      Position Summary

      We’re looking for a passionate Sustainability and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Manager to deliver the continued implementation of our Sustainability Roadmap across the Anglo Dutch Caribbean, leading initiatives in carbon removal and reduction, circular economy, regenerative agriculture,  renewable electricity, consumer behaviour change and any other projects. With a good business understanding, you will develop and drive the implementation of the market sustainability strategy in line with the Zone & the Categories sustainability strategies.

      Furthermore, you will lead projects and communication for strategic CSR external initiatives including Youth, Community Development and Corporate Contributions and manage relationships with key External Stakeholders to achieve the goals defined within our Sustainability and CSR Agendas.

      A day in the life of…

      • Define sustainability priorities based upon Zone & Categories commitment and market level issues
      • Develop & operationalize market overarching sustainability strategy (including roadmaps, project portfolio governance & delivery tracking with financials) and a comprehensive company narrative
      • Identify, propose and initiate projects to build or improve the sustainability performance of our market
      • Coordinate efforts and teams across the market, including that all functions are embedding sustainability in their brands’ essences/commercial/operations/brands plan and fully commit to deliver
      • Follow-up on local programs/projects/actions plan to ensure all activities and commitments are implemented on time, challenging and highlighting any risks that need escalation
      • Act as an external representative for the market in sustainability and CSR matters and manage external stakeholder relationships
      • Build a sustainability community (e.g. together with Youth) and provide support, guidance and training to develop knowledge on Sustainability across the organization
      • Leads projects for strategic CSR external initiatives including Youth and Community Development
      • Oversee the market’s Corporate Contributions Framework and execution

      You will be responsible for delivering local data and position management support in addition to executing organizational management, compensation and HR master data judgmental activities within the defined SLAs and standards (Quality, time, accuracy and compliance).

      • You will ensure data consistency at market level, position titles and local grade levels.

      A day in the life of…

      • Ensure compliance of the entire site to all Nestlé and local standards pertaining to SHE though the performance of compliance evaluations and consultation.
      • Revise and develop the safety, health, and environmental policies for the market.
      • Inspect and test machinery and equipment, visit worksites to ensure compliance by contractors / employees with SH&E standards and regulations.
      • Coordinate the activities necessary to achieve and sustain certification of SHE management systems throughout the site.
      • Complete reviews of Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Certifications, and other applicable documentation to ensure compliance of external providers in preparation for projects such as construction, installation, and maintenance.

      • Supervise the investigation of accidents and unsafe working conditions, analyse, and note possible causes and recommend remedial action.
      • Conduct and facilitate the provision of training sessions for management, shift leaders, employees, and contractors on the SHE related competencies and legislation.
      • Coordinate with external consultants to conduct environmental baseline studies and impact assessment studies for new projects.
      • Represent the company and act as a liaison with external stakeholders such as Fire Services, The OSH Authority and Environmental Management Authority.
