Experience and ability to perform as a necessity. We are currently seeking expressions of interest from highly motivated, experienced personnel to join our marine crew as Chief Cook. The candidate must have at least 3-5 years experience in a similar position.

Key responsibilities

The Chief Cook’s main functions is to provide healthy, safe, efficient and cost effective catering in accordance with the company’s procedures and relevant legislation.

The candidate must posses the following,

• Chef’s and catering certificate from a recognized institution
• Basic Firefighting/Fire-lighting and Fire Prevention
• Food handling and Hygiene
• Medical Certificate
• Elementary First aid Certificate
• Personal Survival Techniques
• Security Awareness
• Vaccinations – Hepatitis A
• Certificate of Character
• Stores/Inventory Management
