Industrial Relations Officer KEY FUNCTIONS
¦ Represents the Authority at meetings with the Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Health, and Industrial Court as appropriate.
¦ Attends to employees’ grievances in accordance with the Authority’s Grievance Procedures.
¦ Conducts research relevant to Human Resources/Industrial Relations matters.
¦ Prepares evidence and arguments for cases relevant to the Industrial Court.
¦ Designs and delivers training programs relevant to Industrial Relations’ practice within the institutions.
¦ Participates in drafting Collective Agreement proposals and negotiations.
¦ Represents the Authority at meetings with trade unions.
¦ Conducts investigations and provides guidance to appointed investigators.
¦ Prepares reports and board notes as necessary.
¦ Performs other related duties as required by the job function.
Industrial Relations Officer MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
¦ A University Degree in Labour Studies or any Social Sciences Degree.
¦ Considerable knowledge and experience in Labour Legislation and Regulations and practices of Industrial Relations.
¦ At least three (3) years’ experience in a similar or related job function.
¦ Execellent negotiating and communication skills
