      SHOWROOM SALES ASSISTANT

      OFFICE EQUIPMENT & STATIONERY

      Job Title: Showroom Sales Assistant – Office Equipment & Stationery

      Areas of Responsibilities:

      1. Attending to customers in the showroom
      2. Answering the telephone
      3. Handling cash and balancing daily sales
      4. Preparing quotations
      5. Batching of cash and charge sales
      6. Replenishing stock on shelves in the showroom
      7. Ordering goods from the warehouse to fulfill orders and for restocking purposes
      8. Preparation of invoices and orders for delivery
      9. Filing
      10. Perform any other duties as deemed necessary

      Support:

      i. Complete all required administrative tasks (paperwork) in an accurate and timely manner

      ii. Comply with all company policies

      Qualifications & Experience:

      1. Proficient in Microsoft Office
      2. At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position
      3. Experience in the field of Office Stationery and Equipment would be an asset
      4. Experience dealing with customers
      5. Five CXC O’Levels, including Mathematics and English
      6. Knowledge of Microsoft Navision would be an asset

      Requirements:

      1. Excellent customer relationship skills
      2. Excellent oral & communication skills
      3. Maintain a professional appearance at all times
      4. Legible handwriting
      5. Certificate of character from the Trinidad & Tobago Police Service
