DESCRIPTION

To assist in the daily operation of the Company’s warehouse under the direction of the Warehouse Coordinator. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Liaise with Receiving Clerk to accept physical deliveries that have met predetermined packaging requirements.

• Move goods from suppliers’ vehicles/ containers to designated areas in the receiving bay.

• Store and pack goods.

• Pick goods ordered.

• Arrange for the transfer of goods to the respective storage areas, once goods have been entered into the system,

• Load goods for dispatch onto trucks.

• Clean and maintain warehouse and dispatch areas.

• Ensure that all equipment is in proper working condition at all times.

• Perform any other related duties as necessary. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of three (3) O’ Level subjects.

• A minimum of three (3) years experience in a warehousing environment.

• Any equivalent combination of qualifications and experience. 

Special Skills and Knowledge:

• Basic knowledge of warehousing systems and its related processes.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Some heavy lifting may be required.
