DESCRIPTION

The merchandiser is responsible for the packing out and displaying of company’s products and ensuring company products are on customers’ shelves in a timely manner.

JOB DUTIES:

• Ensuring the company’s products are prominently displayed in retail customer outlets
• Ensuring customers’ shelves are clean, products are accurately priced and the use of POP is implemented.
• Identifying sales opportunities
• Aggressively pursuing additional opportunities for optimum space and placement.
• Communicating to the relevant Sales Representative and/or Manager if goods have not been delivered to any outlet under their responsibility.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• At least two (2) years experience working in a similar capacity
• A minimum of three (3) CXC/GCE O’ Level passes, including Maths and English

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Ownership of a vehicle would be an asset
• Creative instinct with ability to “think outside the box”
• Excellent interpersonal skills
