Public Areas Attendant in PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad and Tobago

Description:

The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel. This person must have exceptional communication skills as well as superior guest service abilities.

This position is fast paced with constant customer interaction and must be able to push and pull a moderate weight. The Public Area Attendant must be knowledgeable about floor care in areas of wood floor, carpet, marble floor, mopping, buffing, crystallizing, stripping, waxing and shampooing. The individual must be willing to work in both the day and night shift. Guest room cleaning will be an asset.

Qualifications:

• Prior working experience in the hospitality industry;
• Knowledge of chemical and its usage;
• Knowledge of cleaning machinery and equipment;
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule;
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• Meticulous with excellent attention to details;
• Ability to follow instructions;
• Physically able to do considerable amount of lifting, pushing, stretching and bending, with moderate amount of weight.
