DESCRIPTION
The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the prompt delivery of correspondence/packages, internally and externally, to and from organizations by driving the Bank’s vehicles within a prescribed schedule.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collects, sorts, and delivers mail, packages, stationery and other documents/items on behalf of the Group to and from internal and external locations, including public and private offices, companies, and other Financial Institutions in accordance with a prescribed schedule
- Delivers and collects bulk mail to and from TTPost on behalf of the Group
- Performs safety and basic maintenance checks to ensure that the assigned vehicle is in good working condition and completes a checklist
- Transports staff within the Security Services Unit and other Units where necessary and as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager
- Engages in marketing of the Group’s products and services
- Responds to customers’ requests, enquiries, incoming and outgoing calls, both local and foreign, in a courteous and timely manner consistent with operating standards and escalation to the Supervisor/Manager where necessary
- Completes special projects and other related activities as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Three (3) GCE O’Levels Grades A, B and C or CXC O’Levels (General Proficiency) Grades I, II or III of which one must be English Language
- Valid T&T Driver’s License with at least three (3) years’ driving experience
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal and team work skills
- Professional deportment

DESCRIPTION
The incumbent will be responsible for the enforcement of the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago as well as all applicable policies and procedures designed to protect the people, property, and information of the Group.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducts surveillance of respective zones prior to staff’s entry to the Group’s premises including the provision of effective security at the points of opening and closing of such premises
- Evaluates, assesses, and reports on routine, and any abnormal activities in the respective zones on any threats to the Bank and/or its staff members on a daily basis by liaising with the district police and/or any relevant parties, and prepares a formal report for the Security Supervisor as well as a notation in the Occurrence Diary
- Maintains the Occurrence and Pocket diaries on a daily basis in accordance with the established policy and procedure
- Notifies staff in a prompt manner of any security issues that may arise in the respective Branches/Units requiring immediate alertness/attention
- Ensures that the relevant access control procedures are implemented and enforced to reduce the likelihood of unauthorized access to the premises
- Takes relevant action to reduce/negate any incidences by providing visible presence when staff interacts with irate customers
- Takes a leadership role in the Emergency Evacuation Management process by ensuring all staff/customers/visitors adhere to the emergency procedures and renders assistance to persons who are unfamiliar with the respective procedures
- Assesses new work locations to determine any security risk(s) to users and submits a report on any identified risk to the Supervisor/Manager
- Oversees the activities and performance of the external/contracted Security Officers to ensure that their operational levels satisfy the Bank’s requirements
- Conducts a preliminary investigation into occurrences within the Branches/Units as necessary to identify the perpetrator(s) of any contravention against the Group and submits a report for further assessment/investigation
- Acts as the liaison between the Bank and the members of National Security in any situation that requires a joint initiative
- Assesses the performance of the Electronic Security Systems at the location and ensures that the Security Services Management is apprised of any system-related issues
- Assesses the Tellers area to determine whether a distress signal is displayed so as to provide relevant assistance
- Detains and/or arrests (where precepted) any party who commits an unlawful act within the work environment
- Guides customers to the relevant Branch/Unit personnel for assistance where necessary
- Ensures the Bank/National’s flags are hoisted and lowered in accordance with the specific regulations and guidelines
- Responds to customers’ requests, enquiries, incoming and outgoing calls, both local and foreign, in a courteous and timely manner consistent with operating standards and escalation to the Supervisor/Manager where necessary
- Completes special projects and other related activities as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager
Qualifications and Experience
- Three (3) GCE O’Levels Grades A, B and C or CXC O’Levels (General Proficiency) Grades I, II or III which must include English Language
- A minimum of one (1) year exposure to formal security training
- Proficiency in Arrest and Control Tactics, baton skills, drills and in the use and security of firearms
- Oral and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal, conflict resolution, problem solving and team work skills
- Mental and Physical Fitness/Awareness
- Conducting Security Assessments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- In depth Knowledge of the relevant security laws
- Knowledge of the Group’s Operating Software Systems, Products and Services
