Credit Sales Associate Scotiabank (Temporary Contract) Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago Ltd. We are looking for dynamic, driven, sales oriented persons. Your focus must be one of exceptional service to clients and their needs. Job Summary: The Credit Sales Associate is responsible for contributing to the branch’s overall success by achieving sales through meeting the financial needs of pre-approved retail customers by providing practical advice and superior customer service. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations and internal policies and procedures. The contract is for a period of six (6) months.   Major Accountabilities: Efficiently complete sales administration to minimize re-work and meet customer expectations on timeframes. Develop new customer opportunities through referrals Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations and internal policies and procedures. Key Competencies: Excellent sales skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Results focused Ability to work in a high pressure environment and meet deadlines without sacrificing integrity. Strong follow-up skills Knowledge of financial products /services Strong work ethic with the ability to work on own initiative Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word applications   Educational Background and Experience: Associate degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline with at least one year sales experience OR 5 CSEC/GCE O level passes (1’s and 2’s) including English Language and Mathematics with at least 1 year sales experience.Previous experience in the financial industry would be an asset.
