      DESCRIPTION
      AMPLIA ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

      MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

      Ensure timely and accurate processing and posting of suppliers’ purchase orders, invoices and payments
      Maintains accruals and prepayments based on contractual commitments
      Perform monthly reconciliations for balance sheet and supplier accounts
      Prepare daily bank reconciliations and ensuring reconciling items are investigated and cleared timely
      Responsible for administering, disbursing and maintaining petty cash impress system
      Preparing, posting and disseminating monthly sales invoices for Enterprise customers
      Monitor, report and make recommendations on treasury balances, based on liquidity thresholds
      Perform reconciliation for employees’ reimbursement by receiving and verifying expense report
      Maintain accurate accounting records by verifying and posting account transactions to the correct sub ledger and general ledger accounts and assisting with resolving any related issues
      Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures
      Ensure compliance to HSE policies and practices
      Provide support to the Accountant for month end and year end close – ensure all transactions posted timely and accurately
      Assist with audit process by preparing schedules, reconciliations, providing source documents, maintaining proper records and other reports.
      Filing of all related supporting documents
      Perform any other related duties assigned from time to time

      AMPLIA ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT REQUIREMENTS

      A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Accounting
      Level 1 ACCA and pursuing level 2 ACCA
      Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or any other Accounting Software
      Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
      Industry knowledge
      Demonstrates good leadership and management skills
      Experience in conflict resolution and negotiation
      Willing to learn and grow within the department and organization
      Honest and Reliable
      Accurate, alert and pays attention to detail
      Good interpersonal skills & team work
      Good problem-solving skills
      Ability to work under pressure with little guidance in a fast-paced
