SENIOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (CONTRACT)
PORT AUTHORITY OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO
SENIOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (CONTRACT)
Job Summary
The Senior Maintenance Technician (Contract) reports to the Team Lead Technical and is responsible for executing and supervising the preventative and repair maintenance activities on all vessels.
Minimum Requirements
Qualification/ Experience and Training:- Certificate of Competency as a watch-keeping engineer (STCW 95 Compliant) from a recognized authority (Minimum – Class III Engineer Certificate 111/1) or Mechanical Engineering Diploma from a recognized Technical Institute with minimum three years post qualification relevant experience or a Master Craftsman Diploma with five years relevant field experience.
• A valid Seafarers Medical Certificate (STCW 95 Compliant)
• Marine First Aid Certificate
• Basic Safety (STCW 95 Compliant)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Maintenance management Systems
- Knowledge of ships, their equipment, operating procedures and regulations
- Experience with computerized Preventative Maintenance Systems Supervisory and Teambuilding Skills
