JOB SUMMARY

The Printing Technician will report to the Supervisor, Printing.  The selected candidate will be responsible for providing printing services including the scheduling of printing orders and performing all routine maintenance of equipment. He/she will ensure all printed materials are properly and efficiently distributed throughout the Company including the line stations. He/she will assist in all other areas of operations within the Printery as necessary.

Key Deliverables

• Purpose: To ensure proper and effective distribution of all printed materials throughout the company and assist in all
areas of the Printery operations.

• Operational Effectiveness- Ensures effective and efficient utilization of assigned resources, towards achieving goals.

• Customer Service: Seek ways to improve service delivery by assessing the organization and its service from the
customer’s point of view.

Person Specification:

You must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar position. You must have successfully attained a Technician or Craftsman certification in printing from a recognized institution You must also have a minimum of five (5) CXC /GCE Ordinary level passes or equivalent qualification. You must be highly proficient in MS Office Suite and in particular Word, Excel and Power Point. Knowledge of graphics programs such as CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, MS Office would be an asset. Working knowledge and experience with Prepress, Printing and Finishing would be an asset.

You must exhibit a strong customer service orientation with an ability to work independently; You must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.  You must demonstrate the ability to exercise judgement and initiative and work well under pressure. You must be flexible to work as part of a team or independently to meet goals in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

JOB SUMMARY

The Closed Circuit Telephone Operator (CCTV Operator) will report to the Supervisor, Security Operations.  The incumbent will be responsible for operating and maintaining surveillance equipment, watching both live and recorded video surveillance footage, viewing multiple monitors at once, reporting incidents or suspicious behavior and contacting the relevant authorities when necessary. He/ she will be expected to maintain a high level of fastidiousness, professionalism, care and integrity at all times.KEY DELIVERABLES:Compliance:  Ensures compliance with statutory requirements, corporate policy and company standards for security and safety for all assignments;Reporting: Ensures the timely reporting of any suspicious activity in accordance with the necessary procedures;

Maintenance of CCTV Equipment: Assists with the maintenance all CCTV equipment and reports any equipment failure so that there is zero downtime with the operational system; and

Relationship Management: Maintains relationships with relevant law enforcement agencies in support of the investigative processes

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

You are required to have a at least one (1) years’ experience in a similar position.  You must also possess a minimum of five (5) GCE/CXC Ordinary Level passes including Mathematics and English.  You must demonstrate proficiency in using the MS Office Suite, in particular, MS Word and MS Excel.  Video Surveillance Certification would be an asset.

You must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills especially for report writing.  You must be able to exhibit accuracy in data analysis and reporting security information. You must also be able to handle confidential information appropriately and demonstrate integrity at all times.
