Digicel Telesales Agent Vacancy Job description:

Job Title: Telesales Agent

Primary objective of the job: 

The Telesales Agent  will be responsible for selling mobile products and services to residential customers which includes up-selling and cross selling to existing customers and assisting to resolve any existing concerns within 24 hrs. This may include prospecting when time permits.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Promotes and sells all products and services to residential and retail customers
• Achieve sales objectives while providing the highest level of customer service & satisfaction
• Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate business
• Prepares and submit sales reports as required
• Makes in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers
• Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints
• Manage sales process with all stake holders to ensure efficient product and service commissioning
• Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities
• Identifies advantages and compares organization’s products/services
• Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive
• Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with immediate    management team, marketing and technical service group.

Academic qualifications and experience required:

• At least two (2) years or more experience in sales
• Five (5) CXC passes inclusive of Mathematics and English
• Experience in sales is preferred.
• Experience in and with the mobile telecommunications sector would be considered a valuable asset.
• An acceptable combination of academic qualifications and work experience may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements.

• Customer-centric with a passion for delivering exceptional service
• Goal oriented  and driven towards success
• Strong  computer skills including the full suite of Microsoft Office solutions is mandatory
• Strong Time Management skills
