      WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR – FINISHED GOODS

      DESCRIPTION

      To ensure that all departments are supplied with the correct items in the required quantities, and the accurate receipt and safe and secure storage and distribution of all Company’s Finished Goods by proper documentation.

      PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES:

      • Ensure production quantities are correct upon receipt in Warehouse.
      • Generate a daily Finished Goods Stock Report.
      • Ensure that Salesmen’s requisitions are filled accurately and on time.
      • Ensure Sales Bins are checked and verified by Accounts Department representatives.
      • Supervise monthly offloading/physical checks of Sales vehicles and loading of export shipments for Tobago and external markets.
      • Provide information needed by the Export Department on a daily basis, regarding containers entering and leaving the compound (i.e. their respective numbers and seals assigned).
      • Perform periodic product physicals.
      • Code all new products coming into the Warehouse.
      • Provide the Quality Assurance department with requested information regarding samples and codes required for specific export orders.
      • Prepare monthly physical stock reports for submission to Warehouse Manager, Accounts Department and Plant Manager.
      • Ensure proper stock rotation i.e. first in, first out.
      • Ensure Sanitation Programme is adhered to as per schedule.
      • Check forklift and ensures it is in proper working condition.
      • Ensure that all safety and speed precautions are taken.
      • Perform any other related functions consequential and incidental to the position.

       

      SUPERVISORY DUTIES

      • Foster positive working relationships through effective conflict management and by following the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement
      • Manage employee attendance and punctuality.
      • Train, evaluate and provide performance feedback and coaching for workers.
      • Prepare reports for submission to the Plant Manager as requested.

       

      JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

      QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION:

      • 5 O’ Levels / CXC / CSEC passes, inclusive of English and Mathematics.
      • Certificate or Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.

      SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

      • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar position.
      • A comprehensive understanding of Supply Chain fundamentals and Warehouse operations.
      • Knowledge of computerized Warehouse Management System would be an asset.
      • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).

      WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR – RAW MATERIALS

       PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

      Warehouse Duties

      • Ensure that all items being received are in correct quantities and in good order, and properly stored.
      • Liaise with Quality Control on a daily basis to ensure samples are taken of all Packaging and Raw materials and that there are no signs of pest infestation.
      • Ensure that Raw Materials samples are routinely weighed for verification of declared amounts.
      • Ensure proper rotation of stock, using the FIFO principle.
      • Maintain proper records of all materials received and issued.
      • Liaise with the Production and Packaging department to issue goods when required.
      • Verify quantities of left-over goods being returned against the Stores Return sheet, and ensure proper labelling and storage of these items.
      • Perform periodic product physicals.
      • Ensure adherence to the established Sanitation Programme.
      • Ensure that all Raw Materials, including those in the A/C Rooms, are labelled with appropriate dates of receipt.

      DESCRIPTION

      To ensure the effective operation of the Maintenance Department by maintaining a plant parts system, working with vendors and entering purchase orders and all other parts transactions, and managing the work order log.

      MAINTENANCE PLANNER

      PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

      • Develop and manage the engineering maintenance schedules for the factory
      • Input and maintain the engineering master data on CMMS PM
      • Identify and implements improvements to the maintenance processes on site
      • To have technical skills to implement and define with Supervisors the right PM implementation
      • Manage the parts inventory system inclusive of the entry of all parts transactions such as purchase orders; issues; returns, and inventory adjustments.  This also includes managing invoices
      • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform or manage periodic cycle counts and physical inventories.  Provide management with the required reports
      • Work with maintenance group and vendors to ensure necessary parts are on hand while minimizing overall inventory value
      • Help develop and maintain procedures for parts and work orders and ensure the plant compliance with these procedures
      • Manage the work order system, inclusive of entering all work order transactions and providing the required reports to management and maintenance
      • Utilize TPM/WCM to deliver the maintenance initiatives on site
      • Assist and recommend new projects and methods to minimize costs while ensuring accurate systems
      • Perform maintenance data capture (losses, cost, breakdown analysis, tag resolution).

      MINIMUM QUALIFICATION/ EDUCATION 

      • Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Engineering

      SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

      • 3-5 years’ working knowledge and experience in managing maintenance schedules; maintenance budgets; improvements of maintenance plans
      • Must have route cause analysis technical knowledge
      • Must have CMMS working knowledge and experience and be able to apply it to other programs for enhancement of data collection
      • Working knowledge and experience in Manufacturing environment preferred
